Well, the 2008-2009 bowling season is here.  Some of you are finishing up golf and other summer activities/some just finished our short summer programs.    Our "Crossgaters" are back and ready to go.  Wednesday and Thursday night men voted to start early!   All the league spots are looking good - we filled some blinds and have waiting list on some time slots.   My staff and I have been busy.  Cathy is back from the beach and her back is getting better.  She sends out a big "thank you" for all the cards and thoughts.   Mike, our night mechanic, has signed on for another season.   You can expect to see the "familiar faces" as well as some new associates.   We, with the help of some contractors, have been working on the center.  Fresh paint, some new bathroom fixtures, and our new carpet is scheduled to be cleaned on its first year anniversary.   Good news for the outside:  the City of Blue Ash and the Ohio Liquor Board have approved our outdoor "bowler accommodation areas".  Outside both front exits will be a defined area for smoking, cell phone usage and beverage consumption (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).  It took a long time, a lot of work and money, but it will be great!  Thanks to Larry Norris for helping with the design and consulting with all the code requirements.   Dave's World of Bowling is back in full swing and regular winter hours.  Dave has opened WOB-2 inside Cherry Grove Lanes.  His new staff includes Brian Himmler and Mike Rea.  Best of luck to Dave and his staff.
